ALWAYS ADD A WETTING AGENT OR PENETRANT
Wetting agents and penetrants help maximise herbicide entry into the weeds and are essential to achieve best results.
Weed Force Holdfast wetting agent & penetrant is a premium wetting agent and is recommend for use with both Gusto and Renovate.
Refer to the product labels for more information.
Dealing with regrowth:
After the initial herbicide treatment, some follow up treatment of any regrowth is likely to be required. Allow regrowth to gain a reasonable leaf area before retreating as a good receptive surface area of foliage is necessary to collect sufficient herbicide to translocate to the roots. This will achieve the highest level of weed control.
Read the product label for specific instructions for the product being applied.
Long term management of woody and noxious weeds:
Maintaining lush, vigorous pasture is the best way to keep weeds at bay.
Post application pasture management including re-seeding and fertilising will minimise re-establishment and result in the best long term control.
Ensure thorough coverage of foliage.
Only spray weeds when they are not stressed and actively growing. Some herbicides have recommended seasonal application timing to spray. This information can be found on the product label.
Use high pressure hand gun application to penetrate dense foliage
Always add a wetting agent or penetrant as directed on the product label. Failure to do this will result in poor weed control and high levels of regrowth.
