Common Plantain also known as Ribwort and Lambs tongue, is a autumn-winter germinating perennial plant.
It produces spear shaped leaves with long downy hairs, longitudinal veins and well defined depression along the midrib.
As it
matures, it produces stems (up to 60cm high) with small green flowers at the ends.
