Weed library - Fumitory (Fumaria spp.)

There are many varieties of Fumitory present in Australia and correct identification is key as some herbicides are only registered to control certain species of fumitory.

As a general description, Fumitory species are a semi erect, sprawling plant with deeply lobed, hairless leaves. The leaves are attached to branched stems which are also hair less and are five sided.

The flowers range from pink to red.
